Rainbow Day Nursery Lymm have created a special ‘home from home’ atmosphere where all our children feel happy and secure as they develop. All our rooms are accessible ground-floor rooms, each is light and spacious with easy access to the outdoors.
To arrange a time to see the nursery, please call the Nursery Manager Alison on 01925 756569 to book a show round at the setting or submit an enquiry.
Baby Room
The Baby Room is the perfect area for the babies to play and rest. The Baby Room is a delightful and spacious area with no more than 9 babies at a time, situated in a quiet area of the main nursery. Our qualified nursery practitioners care for the little ones in a gentle and stimulating environment.
With direct access to the outdoors we have a lovely area with artificial grass where the babies crawl and play. There is a separate changing facility separate from the room so that babies can be changed in comfort and privacy and double doors leading out onto a spacious baby play area.

Toddler Room
The Toddler Room is designed to provide our newly toddling children with space and places to explore. The furniture is specifically designed to divide the room into separate areas for physical, cognitive and messy play with areas for rest also. Again, there is easy access to the outdoor play area.
While promoting individuality, we provide children with every opportunity to develop socially and emotionally. For example, we help children to learn to share and to play happily alongside others. Here we focus on the prime areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, namely the areas of ‘Personal, Social and Emotional’ learning, ‘Communication and Language’ and ‘Physical’.

Early Learner
The Early Learner room is bright and vibrant with areas for role play and quiet time. The focus here is on attention and listening and taking turns within groups as well as Pre-School readiness and helping children to learn all the skills necessary for them to reach their full potential.
It is ideally suited to ‘potty training’ and has easy access to the outside. The children access our well-maintained outdoor areas several times throughout the day, come rain or shine!

Pre School
Pre-School is our largest room with space for children to explore and learn. It has areas where children can gather for large group activities or develop their emerging interpersonal skills with their peers in smaller groups. In Pre-School we focus on further developing children and their school readiness. We work very closely with all local primary schools to ensure Rainbow children benefit from a smooth transition into school life.
Children also take part in Forest School which has a hands-on approach giving children them plenty of opportunities to explore the great outdoors. Forest school activities develop confidence, self-esteem, imagination and physical ability as they are allowed to test their limits in the natural world.
