Outdoor Area
Step into our vibrant outdoor area at Rainbow Day Nursery, where we’ve carefully designed different spaces tailored to the unique needs and developmental stages of each age group. Our commitment to providing a holistic and engaging environment shines through in every corner of our outdoor area. With grassed play areas providing a soft and inviting surface for our little adventurers to crawl, toddle, and take their first steps. The surrounding planting troughs add a touch of nature, allowing curious minds to discover the wonders of the outdoors. Our hard play areas cater to energetic play, offering a space where children can run, jump, and let their imaginations soar. These areas are equipped with age-appropriate play structures, fostering physical development and coordination.
Forest School
Staff Team
Our staff are our most important resource and we pride ourselves on our relationships with them. We have a number of staff who have worked at Rainbow for over 20 years and many who have been with us for over 10. This promotes continuity of care, not to mention the benefits of all that experience!
The team are all Enhanced DBS checked, and are well trained and up-to-date with their Safeguarding and First Aid training and have regular updates at staff meetings.
Key Person
Each child is assigned a key person, giving Parents and Carers confidence that even though we have a team of staff, there is an individual responsible for monitoring the development of your child. A key person carefully observes their key children to fully understand what they enjoy doing, and how we can further develop their learning using their personal interests.
Meals
We are proud to state that following our most recent Environmental Health Inspection, we have been awarded 5* on the Warrington Food Hygiene Compliance rating.
Our popular and experienced cooks provide a three week rotational menu which changes each season of the year. We provide a nutritious and varied diet including vegetarian options. We list the menus on our interactive app, and we update Parents and Carers each day online and by speaking to you in person at the end of your child’s session, with information about their day and their appetites! We are allergy aware and are happy to discuss any specific dietary needs with you.
