Rainbow Day Nursery is rebranding to Lymm Day Nursery.
For over 35 years, our nursery has been a special place for children and families in the heart of Lymm.
Thousands of children have taken their very first steps into learning here, built lifelong friendships and created memories that families still talk about today.
As our nursery has grown and evolved, we’ve been thinking about how our name represents who we are today—and where we’re heading next.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that Rainbow Day Nursery is becoming Lymm Day Nursery.
Why the change?
This isn’t about changing who we are.
It’s about making it easier for local families to discover us.
As more parents begin their nursery search online, we’ve found that having a name shared by many other nurseries across the country often makes it difficult for families to find us. We know that once families visit, they almost always choose us – we simply want more local families to discover the wonderful nursery that has been part of Lymm for over three decades.
Our new name reflects what we’ve always been proud to be:
A nursery at the heart of the Lymm community.
Celebrating where we’ve come from
One thing we knew from the very beginning was that we didn’t want to leave our history behind.
That’s why you’ll notice that one familiar feature remains at the heart of our new identity…
Our rainbow.
For generations of children, families and team members, the rainbow has been a symbol of happiness, belonging and the wonderful memories created within our nursery.
Whilst our name is changing, our rainbow continues with us as a reminder of our story and everyone who has been part of it.
It’s our way of honouring the past while looking confidently towards the future.
Inspired by Lymm
Our new logo has also been designed to celebrate the place we proudly call home.
The gentle colours and natural landscape reflect our nurturing approach to early childhood, while the swan and waterside setting are inspired by the beauty of Lymm and the nearby Dam that so many local families know and love.
It’s a logo that represents not only our nursery, but the community we’ve been part of for over 35 years.
What isn’t changing?
Although our name is changing, everything that matters remains exactly the same.

We can’t wait to welcome both familiar and new faces to Lymm Day Nursery, and we’re incredibly excited about everything the future holds.
